Java Development

Adobe Flex

Adobe Flex is a descendant of Adobe Flash. Its goal is to create web applications that look and interact similar to desktop applications. Cloud Computing is a concept that takes a software applications and makes them available over the Internet as a "service". An example would be to envision Microsoft Office software tools e.g. Word, PowerPoint, and Excel all hosted on a computer with all your data files located on a third party’s computers somewhere on the Internet. You would access these applications via the Internet. In this way you could access these applications anywhere in the world on any device that has an Internet connection. You would not have to maintain PCs and file servers throughout your company, purchase new computers when they become obsolete, perform backups daily, and protect your network from being compromised by hackers. The cloud computing company would do all your backups for you, have built in redundancy, power backup capability and charge you a fee based upon usage, i.e. provide you a service.
