This Java demonstration is a 2D map with Digital Line Graph (DLG) and Land Use and Land
Cover (LULC) data from the United States Geological Survey (USGS). To zoom in on
a particular area you can rubberband the picture by clicking and dragging the
mouse from one corner to another.

To render the map without either DLG or LULC data items click on the DLG or
LULC items' checkbox, then press the render key. To display any of the locations
listed, choose the desired location and press the render button.

When the mouse is over the red dot, the name of the location will be displayed below the map.
This demo works best using:
Netscape Navigator 4.0 (or later), or
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 (or later)
Run Java Map (may take several minutes to load)
