Capraro Technologies, Inc. was formed in July 1993 and incorporated in New York State (USA). We are located at 2118 Beechgrove Place - Utica, NY 13501. We are a member of the Computer Applications and Software Engineering (CASE) center at Syracuse University. CASE is a New York State center whose purpose is to foster the growth of new advanced technology companies within the state.
Dr. Gerard T. Capraro established the company in 1993 with
the desire to grow an advanced technology firm in Central New
York. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics
at Utica College of Syracuse University (SU) in 1966. He was
employed by the US Air Force at the Rome Air Development Center
from 1966 to 1984. While with the USAF he obtained a masters and
Ph.D. in engineering at Syracuse University (SU). He also spent a
year at SU as a visiting professor and has been an adjunct professor
at SU since 1979. He left the USAF in 1984 to pursue his career in
the commercial world. He was the co-founder of the Utica office for
Kaman Sciences Corporation at 258 Genesee Street in Utica, NY.
